John Hutchins is the author of books such as
Machine translation: past, present, future (Chichester: Ellis Horwood, 1986) and
An Introduction to Machine Translation (with Harold Somers)
(London: Academic Press, 1992), President (since 1995) of the European
Association for Machine Translation, as well as former President
(1999-2001) of the International Association for Machine
Translation,
The talk is
free for MSc Trans students and LRG members, and £10 for non-LRG
members.
